IBC Tetris

Cologne / Art Installation

2024

For this concept, we designed an oversized Tetris game built from 1,200 IBC containers. The installation was planned to stand for two weeks near Cologne, bringing the iconic Tetris shapes to life on a monumental scale. Each container was equipped with a multicolor lamp, making a total of 1,200 individually controllable light sources. The technical implementation was achieved through a complex network of 28 DMX universes, enabling precise color changes and animations. The project combines architectural dimensions with interactive light art, transforming a world-famous game into an entirely new, immersive experience.
